May's CalHaunts NorCal meeting came and went with a minimal amount of of bloodshed. Attendance was up, and we were happy to spot some of our new members. Bryan of SacFx was also there, somewhat recovered from Hauntcon. Glad to see you, Bryan!

Greg Miller and lovely assistant, Janelle, taught the zombie groundbreaker make and take at Skulltronix. Greg took the time to build the prop and bring it along for demonstration, and it looked fantastic.

He also took the time to put together instructions for us so that anyone who didn't finish the build could complete it later. Everyone's completed build looked great and stood up to initial testing, and more than one person said they couldn't wait until Dan's controller was ready to go.

Here is Dean testing one of the builds

Jerry of Skulltronics was kind enough not only to provide the space for the meeting, but to give us a demonstration of three of his animated skeletons.

He was also caught molding various skeleton parts, and showing off the insides of some skulls-in-progress. Dennis also set up some PCs for the VSA/Exorcist/DMX prop control for us to play with.

A good time was had by all, especially after the build was done and some Sierra Nevada was found hiding in the cooler!
