Special Note: the LED eyes will be first, followed by the brief "how to haunt like a pro" for those interested enough to stick around.

Hidden Creatures LED Glowing/Blinking Eyes Kits instructed by Rachel Fox of Fox Hollow.

Kit of blinking eyes made from Ping Pong balls, LEDs and glass beads to give the eyes in your trees a glowing colored iris.

2 Kit options:

Battery powered Steady Glowing Eyes Kit: approx. $16.50 - 8 pairs of glowing eyes (DO NOT BLINK) each powered by its own battery. Can easily be clipped into trees, bushes, etc. They are not connected to the other sets of eyes. This project involves soldering and gluing.

AC powered Arduino Blinking Eyes Kit: approx $65 - 8 sets of glowing eyes that blink independently. Eyes blink individually at random intervals giving the look of several creatures hiding in the dark. Each set of eyes can easily be clipped into trees, bushes, etc. This is not a programing class. The code for the blinking eyes will be pre-loaded on the board and will also be provided so those comfortable with programming can tinker further on their own. The build will deal with building the eyes and assembling the control box. Soldering and gluing will be involved. Kevin will be available to talk about programming on the Arduino board towards the end of the build if you desire.

For your planning, there are two 25 foot cables which are stripped and contain the wires for 4 sets of eyes each. The cable can be stripped as little or as much as you want based on the distance apart you want the eyes. I have included a diagram of the layout to help make things more clear. If you would like lines longer than 25 feet for between the board and the eyes, please contact us directly. This can be done for a small extra cost easily, but we need to know the length to order.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE AN ARDUINO BLINKING EYES KIT AT $65 YOU MUST ORDER IT BY MIDNIGHT, THURSDAY, APRIL 7TH.

Arduino Blinking Eyes Kits may be purchased after April 7th until Wednesday, April 13th at $70 as we may have a few extra parts and may be able to get other parts locally. No orders for the Arduino Blinking Eyes Kits will be taken after April 13th.

Battery Glowing Eyes kits may be ordered up until April 15th while supplies are available.

Sounds are not part of the build. The video doesn't do it justice as it kind of blows out the eyes, but it gives you an idea of the build.
