Corpsing with Panty Hose instructed by Leo Geskey
On June 18th @ 11am in San Jose, Ca
Brief description: Learn how to create a customized realistic corpse using a plastic skeleton, a pair of panty hose, and liquid latex.
In lieu of the usual recap, I'll just paste this email from Stacy Fitz that says it all:
I just wanted to chime in with my thanks to Leo for an amazingly awesome build. This has to be one of the all time best organized, best attended, and best finished builds of all time. From the built-for-the-class skeleton arbor, to the "how to" pamphlet, to the food table complete with skull light decorations, to the fully stocked tubs of ice cooled drinks - I have to say I was completely blown away, and thoroughly enjoyed the entire day. Leo, welcome to the ranks of overacheiving instructors! You truely went above and beyond to provide your fellow club members with a rewarding experience. I also have to give a shout out to your loyal minion Jackie, who was always ready to lend a hand with whatever needed doing. He's a keeper! Good minions are so hard to come by...!
For those of you for whom it was your first build, in addition to learning a neat way to upgrade or add to your haunt or yard, you really were given a great opportunity to meet a lot of us at once. It was great to see all the new faces, catch up with some old, and while I didn't get a chance to talk to all of you, I hope you all enjoyed it as thoroughly as I did, and I hope to see you at future builds.
For those of you who didn't stay for the movie, you really missed a treat! I cannot express how awesome it was to sit outside in comfy chairs and watch a high def blue ray movie on a big screen while munching on a pizza.
The most surreal moment for me? When I got my skeleton hung on it's hook, and suddenly realized I was surrounded by skeletons. EVERYWHERE I looked, I saw skeletons hanging from their hooks, like over-ripe undead fruit, and it only got better as first the panty hose, then latex, then spiderwebbing, twigs, rope, hair, etc. were added to individual creations to make them even more appealing. The amount of creativity that went into some of these was incredible, and highly entertaining - for example, the yellow and pink creation that was also given rope guts and a black mustache and goatee...!
This was one for the record books. I think we'll be talking about it for quite a while.
Leo, you rock!
